Carol Espinosa

Carol Espinosa is the owner and founder of Fre3dom Interiors, a commercial interior design and furnishings provider whose mission is to build communities that enable learning and growth one project at a time. In the last twelve years, Freedom has grown to a team of dedicated design professionals and moved to a 7,000 sq ft showroom in Kansas City, MO featuring state of the art technology, such as Live Design and virtual reality, to assist with design and product selection, as well as showcase different design applications.

Carol serves on the Board of Directors for Lead to Read, volunteers with Junior Achievement and Shawnee Mission Education Foundation and is involved with the Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy. She is a member of the Kansas City Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business class of 2022 and NextGen Leaders class of 2019, as well as a member of the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program class of 2018 and the SBA's 2019 Small Business Person of the Year for the State of Missouri.

Carol was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and moved to the US in 2000. She is a KU graduate and lives in Shawnee with her husband and four-legged crew. When not at work, Carol enjoys traveling, reading and paddle boarding.
